“If you can dream it, I can design it.” – Edwin
Studied Interior Design – Art Institute of Houston (3 years)
“Learning from the best, is how you become the best. I had the privilege of working with some of the best professionals in the business. From painters and carpenters, to interior designers and architects, I’ve experienced it all. Their attention to detail and level of perfection has helped me become the skilled designer I am today.”
“I worked with set designers and artists to create stage settings for plays. We worked with raw materials to stage the atmospheric backdrop for performing artists.”
“When I was first starting out, I specialized in custom furniture fabrication, upholstery, and drapery. During my profession at JB&G, I developed the skill set to design and install beautiful drapery treatments, cornices, sofas, sectionals, custom beds frames, headboards, and more.”
“This role allowed me to learn the in’s and out’s of developing commercial spaces, architectural planning, and project management. During my career at BBI, I honed in on a special skill set for true custom design with cabinetry. These projects were all high-end specializing in elaborate renovations with ornate applications from floor to ceiling. I worked with appliqués from JP Weiver and Enkebol to cascade the walls and cabinetry with a unique French Baroque influence. I wore a variety of hats from warehouse and floor sales associate to head draftsman and lead designer. I had the privilege of working with prestigious mentors to develop a keen eye for design aesthetic. They taught me how to produce schematics and detailed shop drawings which allowed me to establish a personal design aesthetic and skill set.”
